What is DHA?

DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is an omega-3 fatty acid that contributes to the normal physical development of your baby's brain and eyes. DHA comes from breast milk if the mother eats foods rich in DHA, such as salmon. Specific organoleptic characteristics can come from DHA (docosahexaenoic acid): Marine smell or marine taste. This poses no danger to your baby and has no impact on the nutritional qualities of the product. The addition of DHA in infant formulas and follow-on formulas has become compulsory in France since February 2020.

What is DRA?

ARA is an essential fatty acid found in breast milk. Infant regulations authorise the supplementation of infant formulas with ARA.
